The ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc., is a national program that exposes high school students to the different elements involved in design, engineering, and construction careers.

ACEACE is an after-school enrichment opportunity, available to students from all grades. The program is mentored by Kelly Smolar (YUHSG ’03), a graduate of The Cooper Union and a professional engineer. Every week students work on a team project, modeling a real-life project design team that includes roles such as developer/owner, an architectural firm, a construction management company, and engineers. As a direct result of ACE participation, students are exposed to a broad network of scholarship and internship opportunities during their college years. Central students have been awarded over $22,000 in college scholarships. YUHSG is officially the first yeshiva high school to have an ACE chapter.
